Cristal Anis, a blend of Mediterranean traditions. That’s exactly what it is.

From the fishing hut to the village square, it brings friends together.  We drink it chilled, to the calling songs of cicadas during a game of petanque, or under the bridge of the Vallon des Auffes, to the lapping sound of waves against the barques returning from an evening fishing trip. Inspired from the Spanish aniseed-based drink Paloma, and arriving in Marseille via Algiers, thisrecipe brings together 135 years of memories of outdoor grills and courgette-flower fritters. The generations familiar with it are always moved when they come across its parchment style label.  For Cristal Anis isn’t just a drink, it's a member of the family. The much-missed cousin we meet up with every summer!

Tasting tip: add enough chilled water to suit.  Remember, the water always comes before the ice!
